Deuteronomy 6:4-9 What We Value: Multi-Generational Ministry
June 11, 2017 Speaker: Mike Sciarra Series: What We Value
Topic: Multi-Generational Ministry Passage: Deuteronomy 6:4–9
Discussion Questions:
- Read Deut. 6:1-25. Why do you think God would want all generations to worship Him and obey his Word? How did Jesus model this in His ministry?
- Read Ps. 78:1-11. Why is it so important to God for us to pass the faith to future generations rather than letting everybody figure it out on their own? How has this been modeled for you?
- Read Neh. 8:1-8; Eph. 6:1-4; Col. 3:18-24; and Heb. 10:19-25. In what tangible ways can you learn to better appreciate and engage in multi-generational worship, learning, and service? Why is it so important? Who has encouraged you the most in this? Who can you encourage?
- Read Titus 2:1-10. In what ways have you and your household already tried to engage in multigenerational ministry? What were some of the challenges? What success have you seen? What have you learned?
