God’s Truth for Trying Times - 10/1/20

We need God’s truth in trying times. Read the Scripture passage, think about what it is saying, then pray; by yourself or with your household. Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly (Col. 3:16).

READ: ‬2 Peter 1:3

"His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, for the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence," (2 Peter 1:3)

CONSIDER: What does it mean to have the knowledge of God? It means to know the gospel and believe it and live in Christ's power and for his glory. It means to believe the word of God and obey it. It means to trust God in everything.

THINK: What does this declare about God? What are God’s people being called to do? What assurance is given? How does the Word of God transform our hearts and lives and relationships?
