God’s Truth for Trying Times - 10/13/20

We need God’s truth in trying times. Read the Scripture passage, think about what it is saying, then pray; by yourself or with your household. Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly (Col. 3:16).

READ: ‬2 Thess. 3:5

“May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the steadfastness of Christ.” (2 Thess.‬ ‭3:5‬)

CONSIDER: This is a heartfelt and God-centered prayer for beloved believers in Christ who are facing difficult times. Directing our hearts to the love of God that is measureless for us. God's love has been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit he has given us.  And into the steadfastness of Christ, as Christ gives us strength to live and move and have our being in him. Our perseverance is enabled and guaranteed by Christ himself.
