God’s Truth for Trying Times - 5/31/21

We need God’s truth in trying times. Read the Scripture passage, think about what it is saying, then pray; by yourself or with your household. Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly (Col. 3:16).

READ: Jude 17-19

But you must remember, beloved, the predictions of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. They said to you, "In the last time there will be scoffers, following their own ungodly passions." It is these who cause divisions, worldly people, devoid of the Spirit. [Jude 1:17-19 ESV] 

CONSIDER: Believers are to be comforted by what the apostles predicted, that in the last days there would be people who do ungodly things. We must stand guard and be on watch.

THINK: What does this declare about God? What are God’s people being called to do? What assurance is given? How does the Word of God transform our hearts and lives and relationships?
