God’s Truth for Trying Times - 6/28/20

We need God’s truth in trying times. Read the Scripture passage, think about what it is saying, then pray; by yourself or with your household. Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly (Col. 3:16).

READ: Psalm 145:11

“They shall speak of the glory of your kingdom and tell of your power,”

‭‭(Psalm‬ ‭145:11‬)

CONSIDER: To speak of the glory of God’s kingdom is to speak of the wonderful nature of his rule in a human heart that has yielded to him. To tell of his power is to tell autobiographically about God’s working that has been witnessed firsthand. Whether we have read it in the Bible or experience it ourselves or have heard it from a trusted friend, telling of the power of God necessitates knowing and believing in the power of God.

THINK: What does this declare about God? What are God’s people being called to do? What assurance is given? How does the Word of God transform our hearts and lives and relationships?
