While Jesus is the ultimate leader of Grace Orange, we are also led by a plurality of Elders. We are blessed with gifted staff, deacons, deaconesses, and ministry leaders who sacrificially serve Jesus (1 Peter 5:1-7; 1 Timothy 3:1-13).
Our mindset is one every Christian should embrace: Jesus is our Leader. No role is more important than the other. We each have our God-given callings that we seek to fulfill as we trust in the Lord, working together to serve His purposes (1 Peter 4:10-11).
Elders
The elders devote themselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word, shepherding the congregation in love, overseeing the overall teaching ministry and direction of the church, providing counsel, discernment and direction to members concerning doctrine and Christian living (Acts 6:4; I Peter 5:1-3; Acts 20:28).

Deacons & Deaconesses
The deacons and deaconesses serve the church as ministers of mercy, assisting the elders in the care of God's church, and seek to point others to Jesus by their selfless service. They coordinate service ministries, facilities, and finances as a team, actively engaging in ministry for God’s glory (Acts 6:1-3; I Timothy 3:8-13).
