Real Christianity: Sincere Love Romans 12:9
August 4, 2019 Speaker: Mike Sciarra Series: Romans
Passage: Romans 12:9
Discussion Questions
1. What does Paul mean by telling us to “let love be genuine”?
2. Why must we “abhor" (absolutely hate) evil and “cling" (stick like glue) to what is good? (By the way, what theme brackets Romans 12:9–21? Look at verses 9 and 21).
3. Why do (or why don’t) these responses to grace reveal genuine faith?
4. How would your life be different if you eliminate every hateful thing in your life and clung relentlessly to what is good?
5. In what ways is a harmonious church in line with Romans 12:9-21 countercultural? Are we showing this in our life together? How can we encourage one another to do so?
