Sermon Application Questions:

1. Why is the glorious work of Christ (life, death, and resurrection; present reign; future return) the most crucial truth in the universe? (1 Cor. 15:1-11)
2. Why is it so crucial that we remember what the Word of God says? Share about a time when you momentarily forgot about an important biblical truth and then were reminded and it made all the difference in how you responded.
3. What causes disbelief in those who are not rejecting or resisting Christ? What is the cure? (2 Tim. 2:19-26)
4. Why is it so necessary for Christians to not only remember the Word, but receive it gladly, and then rejoice in it? How does deeply thinking about the truth help us rejoice in it? (1 Thess. 2:13)
5. How can a person who is unsure about their relationship with God, or maybe they know they are not a follower of Christ yet, clarify where they stand with Christ? How does a person gain assurance that they are indeed a believer? (2 Cor. 4:1-5:15)
