- How does suffering drive us to pray? How is it counterintuitive to pray while suffering?
- Read the following and identify elements such as Thanksgiving, praise, confession of sin, etc. 1 Chron. 29:10-14; Ps. 51; Matt. 6:9-13; Eph. 3:16-19. What priority does the Bible give them? How might your life change if you incorporated them in your prayers?
- Write a poem or song of cheerful praise to God and share it.
- Why do you think God tells us to call for the elders of the church to pray for us when we are sick?
