"And multitudes of those that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt. Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the heavens and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever." Daniel 12:2, 3 NIV

Though separated by time and location, God will gather the dusty bodies of believers and unbelievers who are destined for two different places - Heaven or Hell. The Apostle Paul in Philippians 3:19-20a tells us about our current state (citizens of Heaven) and the complete make-over of our bodies at His coming. "For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body." In describing what our new bodies will be like, John the Apostle says, "We will be like Jesus, for we shall see Him as He is” (1 John 3:2b NKJV). We will shine like the stellar heavens.
