HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THE FEET OF THOSE WHO BRING GOOD NEWS! Beautiful means timely in this context. How timely is the arrival of those who proclaim the Good News!

God sends us into our homes, offices, neighborhoods, down the hall, across the street, to the ends of the earth, to preach the good news.

The timely, lovely, beauty of gospel preaching reflects the glory of Christ. Do we see the glory of Christ in our life? Do we see him as lovelier than all others? Is he our supreme affection? The obvious outflow will be to share his glory with others. Shine the spotlight on Christ. Preach Christ. Supreme gift and privilege of our life to be known and loved by Christ, and to know and love Christ, and point others to know and love Christ. Nothing greater than to exalt Jesus Christ; enjoy Jesus, make much of Jesus, speak well of Jesus.

In a time-bound world, our function is timely. Trust God’s timing, plan well-timed words, be ready all the time, whatever opportunity God puts in front of you.
