Discussion Questions:

1. What do you see when you trace the themes of comfort and deliverance throughout the Bible? How does it point us to salvation, sanctification, and glorification? (2 Cor. 1:8-10; 7:1-16)
2. Why is it that faithful and fruitful life and ministry in Christ cannot be done apart from trusting the Spirit of God to use the Word of God in and through your heart, mind, and life? (2 Cor. 3:5-18)
3. How does God renew your mind by the Word? While there is no minimum daily requirement or maximum, what have you found to be optimal and essential in your life? What’s your practice as it relates to fellowship with God through the Word and prayer? 
4. Consider your present life and ministry, as well as what God might allow in the future. What is your greatest need and prayer request you can share with other brothers and sisters in Christ? (2 Cor. 1:11)
