Sermon Application Questions:

1. Why did Paul find it necessary to not only describe his ministry but defend it? (Galatians 1:11-24 what did Paul say to convince the Galatians that he was an apostle sent from God not man?)
2. Why is it easier to work for the praises of others and to flatter people rather than trying to please God and telling the unvarnished truth?
3. Why does the omniscience of God make dishonesty unthinkable? 2 Cor. 4:1-2, Ps. 139:1-4, 23-24)
4. Read 1 John 3:16. What does it mean to lay down our lives for our brethren in practical terms? What does it mean to share your life with another (1 Thess. 1:8)? would our daily life be changed if every Christian put these verses into practice?
