READ: 1 Peter 1:17-19

And if you call on him as Father who judges impartially according to each one's deeds, conduct yourselves with fear throughout the time of your exile, knowing that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot. [1 Peter 1:17-19 ESV]

CONSIDER: Every believer has to be very grateful and hold God in the highest reverence. We were bought with a price, redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus, the perfect Lamb of God. He bought us out of slavery to sin, from our wicked depraved ways, and brought us into his family, purely by grace alone.

THINK: What does this declare about God? What are God’s people being called to do? What assurance is given? How does the Word of God transform our hearts and lives and relationships?

PRAY: Pray these verses to God as a prayer. Pour out your heart in praise to God. Pray for others. Present needs to Him.
