God’s Truth for Trying Times - 1/28/22

We need God’s truth in trying times. Read the Scripture passage, think about what it is saying, then pray; by yourself or with your household. Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly (Col. 3:16).

READ: Ephesians 3:8-10 

To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to bring to light for everyone what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God, who created all things, so that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places. [Ephesians 3:8-10 ESV]

CONSIDER: God has made known his unsearchable riches and his grace to the least likely and unworthy, anyone he chooses to save, and what is so beautiful is that the gospel is now clear and in God's wisdom he continues to save and sanctify as he wills.

THINK: What does this declare about God? What are God’s people being called to do? What assurance is given? How does the Word of God transform our hearts and lives and relationships?

PRAY: Pray these verses to God as a prayer. Pour out your heart in praise to God. Pray for others. Present needs to Him.
