God’s Truth for Trying Times - 6/23/20

We need God’s truth in trying times. Read the Scripture passage, think about what it is saying, then pray; by yourself or with your household. Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly (Col. 3:16).

READ: Psalm 145:6

“They shall speak of the might of your awesome deeds, and I will declare your greatness.” (Psalm‬ ‭145:6‬)

CONSIDER: The fact that we can declare God‘s greatness and speak of His awesome deeds is because God graciously allows us to know Him and praise Him.  to declare God‘s greatness is to confess that He is Lord over all and He made the world and He is the only one who gives and sustains life, and furthermore, salvation is found in no one but God alone.

THINK: What does this declare about God? What are God’s people being called to do? What assurance is given? How does the Word of God transform our hearts and lives and relationships?
