Blessing the God Who Blesses

One of the best things you can do is speak well of God for what He has done in Christ for every believer. Ephesians 1:3 provides a beautiful model for doing so.
When you speak well of God because of what He has done for you in Christ you aren't giving Him something He doesn't already have, you reflect His glory like a star reflects the sun.
You the creature praise your Creator. You are doing the most appropriate thing you were made to do: Praising God's glorious grace.
When God blesses you in Christ He is giving a lost, poor, destitute sinner what he doesn't have, could not have, will not have unless God provides it. He is doing the most gracious thing; what He intends to do independent of you, for your joy and His glory.
