Do Something Now
I don't know what you should do but I know you should do something to bless someone. Find someone to clothe, feed, refresh, help, carry groceries for, mow their lawn, bring flowers, bake a cake. There is an opportunity waiting for you.
Give a homeless lady holding a sign at an intersection a can of coconut water and a bag of granola. Give your neighbor a listening ear for as long as they can talk. Greet everyone with a smile. Say thank you to every server and look them in the eye. Text all your friends a blessing. Explain the gospel in a way right out of left field.
Like a cool breeze on a summer day, like wind in sails, be a human representation of the love of Jesus. Like cool clear water that quenches thirst. Show someone Jesus.
"Serve the Lord with gladness" (Psalm 100:2). No payback but the joy. No obligation but the satisfaction. No agenda but to bless. Stand back and see what God will do. Be ready to change.
