- Although the wicked often dig their own grave and the righteous plant their own garden, sometimes outcomes are reversed, and things don’t make sense. The righteous seem to be destroyed and the wicked seem to flourish. How does Ecc. 8:14, as well as Psalms 37 and 73 instruct us?
- When it comes to God’s gifts of life, joy, and contentment, what is it that most blesses you about God giving us these things? How can these gifts be underappreciated, ignored, or misused? How does Acts 17:24-31 give the most appropriate response to God’s gifts?
- The untraceable character of God’s ways is an intriguing and often confusing part of life. God reveals Himself in the word and does amazing works, but we cannot figure out how or why he does what he does. Why is that such a good thing for us? How do Romans 11:33-36 and 1 Corinthians 1:18-31 encourage us as we navigate life’s challenges with God’s good grace?
