"Should they seek the dead on behalf of the living? To the law and to the testimony! If they speak not according to this word, (Light) it is because there is no truth in them." Isa. 8:19b, 20; NKJ

In Isaiah's time, spiritualists and mediums were used to communicate with the dead; however, the demons of darkness had no truth to convey to the seekers, only lies. Isaiah was the prophet of truth. The people were rejecting and seeking an alternate version from the under-world of what he had clearly preached about God's impending judgment. Isaiah's preaching made clear that every prophetic word he spoke was the measuring standard for truth. Any words that contradict the truth of the Bible have no truth in them. I'm placing all my eggs in the basket of God's word alone.
