"Having made known to us the mystery of His will according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, that in the dispensation of the fullness of times He might gather in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and on earth--in Him. Eph. 1:9,10; NKJ

A mystery is something previously hidden, now revealed. God will write the final chapter in human history. Here, as well as elsewhere in the Bible, God has unfolded some details that will happen at the end of this world as we know it. What He reveals of the future is always "according to His good pleasure." When the time-clock runs out, one can be sure His purposes for man, the earth, and the universe will be completed. At the conclusion of our world's history God will gather true Christians into the millennial kingdom, following that create a new heaven and a new earth with the new universe being completely unified under Christ's rule. What a glorious future is ours!
