"Synergy" is the inner action of multiple elements or parts to produce an effect/result different from or greater than the sum of their individual effects. Spiritual synergy comes from the Greek word meaning "working together." Therefore, within the body of local believers, synergy is individual believers in the church using their gifts in cooperation with each other to the benefit of the whole body. Jesus is the head of the body Who has the power to blend us together to effectively serve Him. Love is the glue that enables us to work together as a cohesive unit.
