"But Christ is faithful over God's house as a son. And we are his house if indeed we hold fast our confidence and our boasting in our hope." Hebrews 3:6

Isn't boasting a bad thing? It is bad when it's selfishly motivated. But boasting in someone else can be good, even great, when God is the object of our boasting. To proclaim full allegiance and utmost confidence in Jesus is the best of all things. We boast in the Lord because He is the only one who can fulfill our boasts. He and His Word are perfectly true and without error. He can handle being boasted in because He is all-powerful, ever-present help in trouble, and the object of our adoration. Boast fully in Him.
