"If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there shall My servant also be; him will my Father honor." John 12:26

When He spoke these words, Jesus was only six days away from the unutterable anguish of the cross, the hour for which He came into the world. A true servant of Jesus Christ will faithfully follow Him wherever He goes. You won't find one without the other. The servant and his master are always close together. What an inexplicable privilege it is to serve our wonderful Lord. Jesus assures us that those who serve Him God the Father will honor. The implication is that, if need be, His servants will follow Him unto their own deaths. Nothing can be more pleasing to the Father than your serving His Son.
