"You recently repented and did what was right in my eyes by proclaiming liberty, each to his neighbor, and you made a covenant before me in the house that is called by my name" Jeremiah 34:15

Repentance is too often seen as an archaic holdover from a bygone era. The typewriter of the Christian life. The 8-track tape of Christian living. Obsolete. Only for out of touch, eccentric collectors of relics. But let's say you do repent. Does that mean you don't ever sin again after you repent the first time when coming to faith in Christ? Obviously not. Martin Luther began the first of his 95 theses: the life of a Christian is meant to be one of continual repentance. Ongoing repentance as a way of life. Let today be the day you start or continue of the road to repentance.
