"Hereby we perceive the love of God, because He laid down His life for us." 1 John 3:16 KJV

The power and wisdom of God are demonstrated and seen by what He has created. The heavens the sun, moon, stars, and seemingly infinite universe speak to His omnipotent power. On earth, the human body, the beauty of a rose, the radiant hues of the rainbow, (things we can see, feel or touch), lend their voices in agreement with David in Psalm 19, verse one, where he says, “The heavens declare the glory of God and the skies the works of his hands." However, His creation infers, it does not tell us, of His love. God's love had to be demonstrated at a point in time (and it was) when over 2,000 years ago He gave His only Son to lay down His life for our sins on the cross. If love is measured by its willingness to give and capacity for sacrifice, how great then is the love of God!
