"So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love." 1 Corinthians 13:13

Three things abide but one is greater. Hope is not that one thing. Love is. Love is greater than hope. Why? First, because God says so. Second, because we hope for what God in His love has promised. We cling by faith to hope of seeing what God lovingly said He would do. Hope is kind of like glue. It communicates with its friend faith and love. It keeps us firmly rooted by faith in the love of God for us. God, in love, assures us of hope by faith. What an awesome God we serve.
