"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away." Revelation 21:4 KJV

Someone has aptly called this life, as wonderful as it is, "a veil of tears." One of the last acts God performs before He gives us a new glorified body is to wipe away our tears. He goes on to provide an environment (Heaven) where the things that bring tears are non-existent and states emphatically that the "former things are passed away." Pain, heart-ache, and disappointment are all things of the past. Hard to believe there is such a place! Do you have the assurance of your salvation and that you have a place in heaven reserved for you? Are we there yet? No, but we're getting closer.
