Most people do not have a clue that they are spiritually dead. We were, as well, until we were made alive in Christ. Understand that people are not sinners because they sin; they sin because by nature they are sinners. No one has to be taught how to sin; it just comes naturally. Prior to the new birth we lived in harmony with the values of a fallen world and under the dominance of Satan who is "the prince of the power of the air." Satan's influence on our decadent society is far greater than we want to admit. Now, having been made spiritually alive, we walk by a godly standard and follow our supreme leader, Jesus Christ.
