"I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people..." Ephesians 1:18

Let’s talk about God’s part in the process. Why is it so important that we pray in the right way, in a way that pleases God? Because you may be able to fool some people, but not God. God sees and knows. And because He sees and knows, He rewards and meets our needs. Therefore, He is the One we are to seek the attention of, not man. And we are instructed to be persistent, to not let up. Keep asking, keep praying (Matthew 7:7-11; James 5:13). God’s part is to see and know the needs and meet them. He gives us everything we need for life and godliness. He lets us know how much He loves us and what is ours because He has made us His.
