Present Sufferings Versus Future Glory

"For I consider the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that shall be revealed to us." Romans 8:18 KJV

After years of horrific suffering for his faith in Christ, the great apostle Paul reflecting back, concluded that the contrast between present sufferings and our future glory was so great that there was not the slightest basis of comparison. We have a propensity to magnify our suffering, rather than anticipate the glory. This conclusion by Paul can only be reached by believing and trusting in the promises of God. The glory will be revealed to us at the time of Christ's coming again. Let's await that glorious event with anticipation, "When Christ Who is our life shall appear, then shall we also appear with Him in glory" (Colossians 3:4).
