Sorrow. Contrition. Brokenness. Synonyms for Repentance. The unrepentant forget them. They say they are for the weak. Yes, they are. In this they are correct. They want the forgetting of their sins a la Psalm 103 without the fear of God. We think Psalm 51 contrition is only for the big sins. The deeper you go with Christ the bigger your small sins look. The unrepentant coddle little sins. They nurse them. Even cherish them. They are their favored pets. Do not forget God's word.
