"For you know that afterward, when he desired to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no chance to repent, though he sought it with tears." Hebrews 12:17

A nerve that keeps getting hit, a chord struck in my heart as I love Jesus, lead my family and serve the Lord. An uneasiness that keeps cropping up. A concern for health in Christ's body. A desire to see lives, households and the household of God flourishing. A burden I can almost feel: am I really repenting? Are the people I know repenting? Are we growing in holiness? Do we live what could be classified as repentant lives? We all have blind spots. God is gracious to reveal these. We have tendencies to gossip, slander, complain, and impose our opinions on others. All good things to repent of before it’s too late.
