"But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost; in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ who is the image of God should shine unto them." 2 Cor. 4:3-4 KJV

Apart from the gospel message, there is no solution to the sin question. The word "gospel" means glad tidings and good news. The angelic announcement of the birth of Jesus Christ to the shepherds on that Judean hillside was the greatest announcement ever made. "For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord" (Luke 2:11). History is replete with notables born into the human family, but only one Savior. Christianity is the only religion that has the answer to the sin question and how sinful man can be reconciled to an infinite holy God. There is only one way: through God's Son, who died for our sins and rose again for our justification. Let us not hide the light of this glorious gospel.
