"But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ's gift. Therefore, He says: "When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive, and gave gifts to men." Eph. 4:7,8; NKJ

It is clear from the Bible that every believer has at least one spiritual gift. It is less clear what criteria Jesus and the Holy Spirit use in deciding which gift each individual believer is given. The nature of and why our particular gift, we leave with God's omniscient plan. Whatever the gift, like a muscle in our body, it can be sharpened and strengthened by exercise. The gift, if not used, will atrophy like an unused muscle. The gifts are given to enable us to successfully reach the lost and edify our fellow believers. An exact proportion of God's enabling grace comes with each gift. The body of Christ suffers when gifts lie dormant, unused. Have you discovered your Spiritual gift, and are you using it for the edification of the saints and the glory of God?
