"Remembering before our God and Father your work of faith and labor of love, and steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ." 1 Thessalonians 1:3

We remember all kinds of things, positive and negative. It is encouraging when someone remembers something you did right and tells others. Paul remembers what the Thessalonians did right in trusting God and serving Him, and recites it to God in praise. He brought them to God's throne of grace in prayer. Their faith showed itself in their actions, their love was evident, and their hope did not waver. A good example for us. We ought to remember before God all who belong to Him by grace through faith.
