"In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace." Eph.1:7; NKJ

Redemption, in reference to believers, means that God has bought us back to Himself from the slave market of sin which held us as prisoners. The price that had to be paid was not silver or gold, but the blood of His dear Son. Only Jesus Christ could pay the debt of our sins because His blood alone was equal in value to the debt owed. God's favor to sinners always flows from the incalculable riches of His grace. God's reservoir of grace is always full no matter how much He may dispense at any one given moment in time. No religious institution of man is the reservoir of God's grace; it comes to us through His Son Jesus Christ alone. Forgiveness of sins is life's most needed and blessed experience.
