"He shall see the labor of his soul, and be satisfied. By His knowledge, My righteous Servant shall justify many, for He shall bear their sins." Isaiah 53:11

The details of this suffering servant here in Isaiah chapter 53 fit no person in human history other than our Lord Jesus Christ. By his substitutionary sacrificial death on the cross He satisfied God's' wrath against sin and provided free-forever forgiveness and a place in heaven for all who believe on Jesus. Praise be to His Name! "For He made Him who never sinned to be sin for us, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him." As He looked back on His earthly life, Jesus was totally satisfied because He had finished the plan and work God had given Him to do. Are we faithfully and aggressively serving the Lord to experience a similar satisfaction?
