The Unsearchable Riches of Christ

“Of this gospel I was made a minister according to the gift of God's grace, which was given me by the working of his power. To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to bring to light for everyone what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God who created all things, so that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places. This was according to the eternal purpose that he has realized in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith in him. So I ask you not to lose heart over what I am suffering for you, which is your glory.” Ephesians 3:7-13

The unsearchable riches of Christ are imbedded in the gospel. We see that God is Holy, Man is Sinful, Jesus is the Only Savior and a Response is needed.

One of the essential points of the good news God graciously gives in the Bible is the truth that God is Holy. He created and owns everything, including you. Genesis 1:1. God is perfectly holy. Matthew 5:48. God requires your perfect obedience to His law. James 2:10.

Man is Sinful. Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures. You have broken God's law. Romans 3:10; 23. You will pay the eternal penalty for your sin. Rom. 6:23. You cannot save yourself by your good works. Titus 3:5. We are enemies of God and destined to destruction unless someone intervenes for us.

Jesus is the only Savior. By which you are being saved. Christ came to earth as both God and sinless man. Colossians 2:9 in Him all the fullness of deity dwells in bodily form. Christ demonstrated His love by dying on the cross to pay sin's penalty. Romans 5:8; 2 Corinthians 5:21 Christ rose from the grave and is alive today. 1 Corinthians 15:4.

Response is needed. You must repent of all that dishonors God. Isaiah 55:7; Luke 9:23. You must believe in Christ as Lord and Savior, and be willing to follow after Him. Romans 10:9.
