One of the hardest things for Americans to do is wait. We hate to wait. We can't stand it. We expect instant. We want results. We want what we want and we want it now. Be it chicken or a test result, we can't wait. Our expectation is immediate. So to be told to wait on God to deliver on His promises sounds like crazy talk to us. But it is good for us. We wait in dependence on the Giver of every good and perfect gift. He is our Savior and Sustainer. The Author and Finisher of our faith.
