"For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son." Romans 8:29a KJV

This verse answers the question in yesterday's devotion as to what God's purpose is in "working out all things for good." It is that we be conformed to the image of His Son. Simply put, be like Jesus. If we are to become like Jesus, we must not ask God to remove, nor foolishly rebel against, the circumstances He uses to accomplish that end. Accept this present test as a part of God's plan to make you more like Jesus and willing to submit to it with joyous anticipation of what He is doing in your life. For certain, we all are a work in progress. An old hymn says it best, "Be like Jesus, in the home and in the throng; be like Jesus all day long. I would be like Jesus."
