When Up And Moving, God Leads Us

"And the servant said, "Blessed be the Lord God of my master Abraham, Who has not abandoned my master of His mercy and His truth: I being in the way, the Lord led me to the house of my master’s relatives.'" Gen. 24:27

What cranks your tractor in the morning? What gets you going? A cup of coffee and a donut? Prayer and a Bible Passage? The above words were spoken by Abraham's obedient servant as he diligently searched for a wife for Isaac. God rarely leads "couch potatoes." As His servants, we must "get up off the couch," step out, get moving, and be advancing in our service and obedience to Him Who sent us. It is then we can be confident of the Lord's leading. The servant's search was successful. Rebekah is identified as God's choice to be Isaac’s bride. Your search in discovering and doing the will of God will also meet with success as you walk in obedience to Him.
